No movement today. Slept in a little bit, got my laundry done this morning, went and grabbed a big breakfast. When I got back to the hotel I checked at the front desk and sure enough, my package was delivered. All set now.
Welcome to the madness that is Branson (albeit not a very good pic).
Craig, I'm sorry man, I went looking for the Yakov "comedy" club. I saw the signs and followed the directions, but I never saw it.
Amusing story from Subway tonight. I had to laugh. There was a gentleman ordering subs at the counter and he reminded me of someone.
LW: "So, I have a few questions."
Subway employee: "Sure!"
LW: "So I see that sign there. Make any sandwich a salad. What does that mean?"
Subway: "Oh you can have a salad instead"
LW: "Hmm, I'm not sure I understand that. What kind of salad exactly?"
Subway: "Well you just get the sandwich w/o the bread."
LW: "OH! So you remove just the bread then?"
Subway: "Yeah. We remove the bread and put it in a bowl instead."
LW: "Ahh, and that costs a $1.50 more. No thank you then."
I chuckled cause it was dead on LW.
Alright, enough work talk. Off through Arkansas and the start of Oklahoma. I'm guessing the Rockies are mere days (3 or 4) away now. Going to be very strange approaching them this time on the bike. The terrain, she's about to change.

Oh, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that you'll debut a picture later on during the trip that features either Yakov Smirnoff and/or his infamous comedy club.
With that being said, I'll try my hand at a Yakov-esque comment today...
"In America, your motorcycle mounted GPS says 'Take fork in road'. In Soviet Russia, GPS says 'road forks you!' "
Ah, its been far too long since I heard(read) a good Yakov Smirnoff-inspired joke!
So Paul, have you got to any of your reading yet during your evenings / days off? I hope you're finding a little bit of energy for that. Of course, American Idol was on last night so I can see how that might have tied up your evening.
Hahaha, that was awesome Craig.
Yeah Micah, I've been reading "On the Road." Lots of inspiration coming from that. Loads of quotes to pull as well. I figure I'll be done with that one early next week. Then Blue Roads should take me home.
